I have become a person who understands that change happens and that you have to roll with it. in 2021 the world certainly is changing and in lots of different ways. This year the good old year of 2021 our economy literally stopped moving last year and it was not good for most of the economy except for the online companies. It was an amazing thing to see a virus that turned out to not be that deadly or even very spreadable actually shutdown our entire economy. It made the small stores I shop at close down and it also made getting supplies of all kinds difficult and scary. But it was sad that this was all done for nothing now that the facts have come out in 2021 and no one is in prison because of the media's lies. The fact is that if it was not for online retailers I would have probably been in actual physical trouble. Food and supplies were short and hard to come by in my area and it looked like stores that were open had been looted they were so empty. It has fundamentally changed the way I shop and will store things in the future. But I do want to say that I was still able to get all my ostomy gear online. There are a bunch of good companies that were running double-time to keep up and it was worth checking into them in my opinion.
We all need to take some time to thank those companies for fighting the regulations trying to shut them down and for keeping us supplied with all the stoma and ostomy gear we needed. That was one area that I did not have to worry about and was able to get all the things I needed on a weekly and monthly basis. Now I know I am going to buy a big supply of things from my online retailers so if this happens again and the delivery trucks stop running I will be able to survive and not have to reuse things constantly. The gear is great and can be reused many times, but it really only lasts so long, and staying hygienic and healthy is very important to me. So I have to say that it really was still simple to go ahead and shop online. It is worth it and I enjoy the quickness of shopping there.
There really was not much of a difference between working from home and shopping online. I was able to place my orders just the same and since I was worried about things arriving I decided to call in and check. The customer service agent was fantastic and understood exactly how I was feeling. They had talked to many people in my position and they were honest about their staff and the time it would take for orders to be placed and when they would be shipped.
They were even nice enough to give confirmation on when my items were shipped so I would have a good idea of when they would arrive. It really was those little things that made me feel great about purchasing from them and kept me psychologically sane and ok during this time. So find a good company and work well with what you know.
